What is Euromed?

"Euromed" is the partnership of the European Union with the following Mediterranean countries: Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Croatia, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Mauretania, Morocco, Monaco, Montenegro, Palestinian territories, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey.

The aim of this partnership is to promote the Europe-Mediterranean-Traffic-Network. In order to integrate this expanded economic area, a Free Trade Zone shall be established by 2010.
